Project Frederick

Located in Vienna, Virginia, Project Frederick St by Monarch Custom Homes is a beautifully balanced modern transitional home, where timeless design meets clean contemporary detailing. Thoughtfully crafted inside and out, the residence combines refined materials, architectural proportion, and natural warmth to create an elegant, livable space.

The exterior showcases a harmonious blend of Arctic White board-and-batten siding, smooth lap siding, and white trim boards, unified by a Rustic Black shingle and metal roof. Andersen 100 Series black-framed casement windows and black gutters accentuate the crisp lines of the façade. The front porch, with its fir-stained wood ceiling, bluestone flooring, and white columns, creates a welcoming and timeless entry.
A Milan-stained front door with frosted glass panels and matte black hardware serves as a warm focal point, complemented by frosted-glass black garage doors and Havana Gold Trex decking. Subtle architectural lighting and black metal railings complete the home’s elegant, modern presence.

Inside, Project Frederick St celebrates light, balance, and detail. The main level features High Reflective White walls, white trim and baseboards, and red oak hardwood floors in a light stain for a clean, natural flow. The staircase, with white risers, wood treads, and black metal railings, is enhanced by a matte black and gold cluster pendant chandelier that adds sculptural drama to the open foyer.

The kitchen blends modern sophistication with classic warmth, white shaker cabinetry and brass hardware pair beautifully with Carrara Gold quartz countertops, chevron backsplash tiles, and three contemporary pendant lights above the island. The family room fireplace, finished in porcelain tiles, includes floating drawers and shelves with integrated LED lighting, creating a sleek and inviting centerpiece.

The primary bathroom exudes spa-like calm with floating wood-tone vanities, white quartz countertops, brass fixtures, and vessel sinks illuminated by elegant wall sconces. Each secondary bath continues the theme with floating vanities, matte black hardware, linear niches, and large-format Emser tiles for a refined, cohesive look.

The basement offers stylish functionality with a wet bar featuring matte black slab cabinetry, Calacatta Gold quartz surfaces, floating wood shelves, and ambient lighting. Additional spaces, including the exercise room with mirrored walls, mudroom with built-in cubbies and wood bench, and office with glass doors, showcase Monarch’s signature approach to functional luxury.

Project Frederick St represents the essence of Monarch’s design philosophy, a modern home rooted in timeless craftsmanship, light, and architectural harmony.
